If you have suggestions, also leave a reply so that I may experiment. If you know of a solution, PLEASE leave a reply, and I will be forever grateful. I know it may be a problem that is seldom seen, but on behalf of everyone who has this issue, I would like for it to be solved. In conclusion, I am so frustrated with this problem and would like a solution ASAP. As far as I recall, this is the only thing that was unusual when I used xpadder. When I used it and correlated the buttons between in-game and xpadder, the strum bar would strum down twice, and when I strummed up it would strum twice AND go back to the previous menu. I did however notice strange behavior when I used xpadder, or any other button-assigning program such as Joy2Key. When I am on any of the menus, the guitar controller works just fine as expected, even without using xpadder as I mentioned above. Now, this is quite a frustrating issue, and it ONLY happens when I am playing a song. The only other button that worked was the options button, which paused the game as expected. When I pressed the orange fret, the RED fret was pressed and strummed. The only functions possible were pressing the green fret, which pressed AND STRUMMED the ORANGE fret. I started up a test song (Slow Ride) and nothing was working right. Now came the hair pulling, obscene shouting, and most frustrating thing about this process. frets GRYBO correspond to keys VCXZShift (Also, I tested the guitar in game without using xpadder and I got the EXACT same results as described below). I used xpadder and mapped out all of the controls as they correspond in my game, e.g.
GUITAR HERO 3 PC CONTROLLER BLUETOOTH
(Keep in mind I use my DS4 controller through bluetooth flawlessly, so I doubt it will be a connection issue). I hooked it up via bluetooth, and it connected like a charm. When I unboxed it, I immediately put it together and got it ready to rock. Also, I got the playstation 4 model (if it matters in this issue). I narrowed my preferences down to the Rock Band 4 Stratocaster, due to the minimal amount of noise the strumming and frets make. I have been using my keyboard to play, but I thought it was time to actually get a guitar controller. So please, if you know the answer, for the love of god help me. There are others who have had the same problem as me, yet no one has answered them or have been able to answer them (presuming there isn't a fix). I have scoured the internet looking for a solution, and have come up absolutely empty.
